It's well worth having a good look through our past tweets. Our twitter account is still young and finding its feet but it'll be great to get your suggestions and feedback.

- Lot of grumblings elsewhere about doing this without telling beforehand.
- A word of warning... Don't hit the spam button for these threads as I got a stern email from them for doing it!!
- One day MSE will realise that things like this are NOT a good idea.
What would these forums be without people finding offers in good faith and sharing them with other FMs? - I don't want my posts on fb or twitter if posting on here means I have no say in that matter then I will need to find another website to post on.
Could we have it stated clearly whether posts will be reproduced or linked to without explicit consent from the op? - Have to agree with the comments above, and sometimes an offer/glitch can be shared too widely & quite apart from the "finder" not getting any credit for it, the offer will run out, be pulled or the company's website may crash very quickly.
I like to think of MSE (especially the Grabbits) as a little club where those who take the time & effort to look are rewarded with deals, tips & assistance from other forum members.
To publicise these too widely will destroy the sense of community & ruin the quality of tips offered by members.
What is the supposed benefit to MSE? - I agree with what others are saying about this. It's quite bad enough when a 'pinched' deal gets put in the weekly email, but to now be broadcasting that deal on twitter and/or facebook to a wider audience is going too far. The MSE posting of any deals to the world will be faster this way and the deal will be over before you know it because of vast and almost instant oversubscription.
People do not want their deals broadcast to such a vast audience, and without their permission. If they wanted their deals on twitter or facebook they could/would put them there themselves. Will permission be sought from the originator? No, I thought not
I think MSE is now in very clear danger of 'biting the hand that feeds them'.
But then it's never been the same since Mr Lewis sold out IMO. - The grabbit forum was never the same since they started to merge threads, imo.
People don't have time to trawl through 100s of pages looking for a grabbit that could end in 5mins time. - The more the word is spread , the better to keep prices down.
I look forward to the day when the CONSUMER is in the driving seat. and messages on Twitter and Facebook do help to combat the advertising.
