A question about : Is Creeping Jenny the green I need for my baskets?
After some advice please. I saw some hanging baskets last summer that had lovely trailing greenery and from hunting on the internet, I think it must have been Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea' or 'creeping Jenny'. Now, when looking to buy it, I can either buy a plant for a few pound, or get 20,000 seeds for just over a pound. Is it easy to grow from seed, as that seems to be an awful lot of seeds. Or have I got completely the wrong plant?
Many thanks.

- Personally, I'd buy a plant because it's so easy to propagate from small pieces of root. Be careful if planting in the ground, it can be very invasive!
- Oh, I forgot, the "aurea" type can scorch in hot sun. Maybe you should go for the green one if it's going in a sunny spot.
