A question about : Booking Fee's on Cash Payments
I have recently purchased some concert tickets to see Michael Ball in Sheffield. I went in person to the box office and paid cash. You can imagine my shock to find that I was charged a 10% booking fee!! Does anyone know if this is legal. I cant believe that they can make money from me paying cash.
Best answers:
- The face value of the ticket goes to the event promotor. Your booking fee would be to cover the costs of running the box office.
