A question about : Is Noddle broken for everyone or it is just me?

Is Noddle broken for everyone or it is just me?

Virtually all I get when I log in is this:

We’re very sorry but we’ve been unable to retrieve your credit report. Please email us at contact@noddle.co.uk so that we can investigate this issue for you.

I think my latest report is due today, so perhaps that has something to do with the glitch. I'll email them later if the problem persists.

  • Same here, and my last update was on 17th March.
    Meaning I should have it updated again in the next few days with a bit of luck.
    If noddle are scheduling a lot of the updates together, which would make sense from their point of view, then I suspect/hope this is just temporary due to that process.
    Noddle has been very good so far for me, but not completely glitch free.
  • Twice ive had the same error as the OP, might give it another shot

    Suspect it was just bad luck to be checking at the time they were doing updates?
  • I've paid off credit cards about 3 weeks ago but Noddle says it was last updated in February! When will this change or is there a problem with my account?
  • It updates once a month, but crucially it only updates a month after you access it. So if in your first month you access it on the 10th of the month then it will update on the 10th of the next month.
    However if you forget to access it for a couple of weeks then when you look on the 24th you'll get a new report, but the next new report won't be until the 24th of the next month.
    If that makes sense?
  • Not too sure when they calculate a new report. My first was 23rd January. My latest, 28th March. I didn't keep a note of the Feb one Seems to have drifted out a little?

  • Just to give you an example:
    First Access report 1st January. New report.
    Access report 1st February. New report.
    Access report 15th July. New Report.
    Access report 1st August. Report as at 15th July.
    Access report 15th August. New report.
    Etc etc.
  • Aha! Sorry, Cell. I ignored your previous post because I thought you'd just gone insane.
    I probably didn't log in to Noddle until 28th Feb, therefore, my next report wasn't generated until 28th March. I'd been looking for an update from 23rd March (thinking it should be the 23rd of every month) and wondered why it wasn't updated.
    It all makes sense now!

  • I can't help but feel that this Noddle thing just doesn't sit comfortably with me, seemingly gearing itself towards advising on available credit cards and loans, and taking a commission from any signups.
    Dunno if it's just me?
  • They have to make their money somehow. Just ignore them like I do
  • I'm rated 1/5 with Noddle, with all accounts up to date (green ticks) for over 3 years, on the electoral roll and good income to debt ratio. No defaults or CCJs ever, but a few late payments many years ago. Can't work it out?
  • The late payments won't help. But ignore the scoring, it's worthless anyhow.
