A question about : New reputation system

We all now have a new icon under our avatars where members can give each other a rating when they think a post is particularly useful.

Like the post count system, there are different levels of reputation according to the number of ratings a member has received. This should give a better idea of the quality of members' posts.

You've seen the ... is an unknown quantity label when you hover over the green button. Everyone starts off with that label. It changes according to the number of positive ratings a person has. Like the post counts, there are various levels, so if your posts are well-rated you'll see it change. If not, it won't.

  • LOL aw yours is disabled Andrea,I wonder what the office staff would of been rated
  • So how does one give a rating?
  • are we allowed to see the comments !!!!!!
    x
  • looks like clicking on scales then allows to add repuation
  • Another dumb question.
The little box says 'is an unknown quantity' but appears blue for some posters and green for ac. What do the different colours mean? It can't be because some are 'on line' because the 'on line' round button is green but the box is blue.
If someone wants to approve your post, will it show an increasing count figure for each 'I agree'?
  • I can see the scales on my post and can check if I have been rated...........................how do I rate others
