A question about : new gas central heating and boiler installation quote

we live in a 3 bedroom semi detached Victorian property. when we moved in the property had storage heaters which we found far too expensive to run so we installed a wood burning stove which is our sole heating at the moment and in the current weather conditions we are freezing! so we are considering installing a gas central heating system into the property.
the property is not currently connected up to a gas supply so we need a new connection which will cost us Ј900 from SGN
i have just received the following quote and would like peoples advice if it sounds reasonable or not.

- Yikes looks a bit steep to me - I'd of reckoned that'd be about Ј2,500 for that work - well I say about as when I got a new boiler + 3 radiators and other little bits like magnaclean, pipework it was about 2500 - but that was with stl heating. I don't know who's quoted you that, but I'd well get some other quotes in - the more quotes the better I reckon.
