A question about : Music/MP3 Downloads
Hi all
I am looking for a good site to download MP3 singles and albums from? I dont really want to use iTunes because of the protection. Basically I want a cheap site, that I can use the songs on multi players/platforms/mp3 players
Any help would be much appreciated
Best answers:
- i tend to use Amazon, DRM free (means no limits) and cheap
you can search on this MSE tool
https://www.tunechecker.com/ - Excellent thank you browntoa, much appreciated
- There isn't any DRM on music purchased from iTunes.
- But iTunes is 5hit.
- I think i remember apple removing the drm from the music in itunes
- Try Spotify or Grooveshark to listen to songs online for free
- There's no DRM on music or podcasts on iTunes, there is on video content though.
The main issue with iTunes is that it uses the AAC file format insteadof MP3. So if your player doesn't support AAC you have to convert to MP3 which I believe you can do from within iTunes.
There's an article here comparing iTunes and Amazon
