What's it about?
Back in July 06 Bailey started this thread to help all pregnant MoneySavers and their partners save on anything pregnancy-related plus give each other moral support. It's been hugely popular and now has a long list of pregnant mothers-to-be. Now it's not just for those that are pregnant but also those trying to conceive and MoneySavers that have probably already given birth and yet are probably too tired to let everyone know.
What should you do?
As well as being a great source of tips, baby-related bargains spotted, mutual support and help MoneySavers here have also gradually built up a list, adding themselves to one of these categories (the last one, people are moved to for obvious reasons!):
EDD (Estimated due date if you're pregnant)
TTC (trying to conceive if you're not) we now have 2 seperate threads for people TTC - 'Trying for a Baby' and 'Trying for a baby (12+ M/not straightforward)'
Birth List
Probably given birth but too worn out to log on list
If you want to add yourself to the list follow these steps:
Click on the link at the top of this page that says Last (it'll take you to the last page of the discussion)
Scroll down until you find the message with the very latest copy of the list in (if you use one further up the discussion other peoples' changes after that will be lost)
Copy that (highlight it and click control+c)
Click reply at the bottom of the thread to open a screen where you can past it (click control+p)
Add yourself to the list then click save
And don't feel shy. Introduce yourself, say hello and ask a question if you need to.
Plus, if you're thinking of how to cut down on nappy costs remember to have a read of the Nappy MoneySaving article too and for later down the line if you need childcare first read the Childcare Vouchers article.
Also please don't forget that this is a public forum and anyone could be reading it. Don't let this put you off discussing anything personal, just please be aware that the people posting on the thread may not be the only ones reading (it may just be that these people, aka lurkers, are too shy to post).

FREE TO JOIN BABY CLUBS:
Tesco Baby Club - Free Pampers Hamper containing a few wipes, nappy sample, some Olay stuff. You need to buy a pack of Pampers to get it, and it's not stocked in every store so check before you set off.
Boots Parenting Club - Free changing bag when you buy a pack of nappies, I think it's Huggies but it might be Pampers. You need to wait for the voucher to arrive.
Sainsburys Little Ones - Free Mum and Baby bundle with toiletries, to be collected from store.
Emma's Diary - You should get the vouchers in the pack from your midwife but if you don't or you want more freebies you can also register and download them here. 3 bags containing lots of samples and a can of Peartiser.
Cow and Gate - You get a free cuddly cow but you need to find a code, these are normally in Parenting mags so either have a look in the shop or on the Discount Codes board.
Aptamil - Free cuddly polar bear.
Those are probably the main ones but have a look around as other places will send out vouchers, nappy samples etc. Also most of these will send you a voucher for money off nappies/wipes so keep an eye out for offers, I got 6 packs of Pampers Sensitive wipes for Ј1.66 with the Ј2 off voucher that came in my Bounty pack.

- oh i love a new thread!
morning all i had a really good sleep last night and everything feels much better today however other half is still in the bad book.. he maybe there sometime.
last night i text him and said i am really pi**ed off that you didnt even offer to come to the hospital with me... his responce was if i thought for one minute something was wrong i would have been there..
well i text him when i was with the midwife and said "midwife is sending me straight to *** hosptial she is concerned that either my water have broke, i have a prolapsed uterus or some sort of infection..."
i wish i had had his confidence that everything was okay coz then i could have stayed at home too.. moron
Wonder how the labouring ladies are doing today? i cant see they will be able to keep PP in long so hopefully she will be back soon with an annoucement - Morning everyone!

I'm getting our new car today! Soo excited! Apart from that, not really much going on here. Am 22 weeks tomorrow.

You might well find that useful as the ladies there are about the same stage as you too. Looks like you have a bump buddy already with Lovecrafting!
K x - You've put Lola as due in April, Kira, but it's March...
- ohhh it would be great if you was my bump buddy, but its 15 march not april so you will be due a month before me, there was me getting all exited to not be on the bottom of the list lol.
todays plans: my grandad just sent a load of my junk to my house, think he has fallen out with me so i need to dispose of said junk and make sure he is still comming to the wedding (he is paying for some of it so i am assuming he is) i was planning a mass clean today so i might just turn some of that into packing bits and bobs, i need to find some bunk beds as cheaply as possible because i need to put three girls in one room when we move so there is room for the cot. then i need to make sausage caserole but even the thought of it at the moment is making me feel sick, ohh and if my dog chews one more shoe i am actually going to murder her. - well i have just attached my room, vaccumed, pulled the bed out changed the bedding etc. sorted out 2 draws of cr*p and popped that in the wheelie bin emptied the hoover. I am hoping that putting all this stuff in the wheelie bin will make some room for the new baby. I am begining to panic about where everything will go.
