This is a continuation of the Parents Club part 12 which can be found HERE. Part 12 was eventually closed due to the length of it

All parents are welcome, mums & dads with children of any age. We're also happy to help people who just have questions about kids, even if you don't have any yet.

This is a place of mutual support, so feel free to ask and answer whatever you want. Feel free also just to moan if that will help!

Suggestions to keep the thread running smoothly
Put questions or anything you don't want to be missed in bold and or colour or use a smiley

Put an indication of age of child either in signature or in posts where it is relevant for people to understand/reply to a post.
If you don't get a response to something, post it again.
If you are replying to someone, make sure you either quote them or use their name so that if they don't read through everything they can find your post.

• Not guilty m'lud I was scooching down the board and seen Krystal had posted last in the thread and I was like "Oh hoi hoi" *jump in for a nosey*
• You lot would be the first to know if I was I'm actually having the worst period of my life at the moment, the cramps are killing me, I've been in the bath the past 2 hours and I'm bleeding so heavy that I'm having to change tampon every hour or so.
  How's little tea doing?
• Gah.. our swimming has been cancelled for tomorrow - read the txt just as I was walking back to the car from buying a swim body-keep-warmy thing from Mothercare Going next week, regular Sunday thing anyhow
  On the bright side, I found a Mothercare giftcard in my purse which turned out to have Ј10 on, hurrah!
  Couldn't find anything I liked in Boots/MiniMode, despite having Ј25 vouchers (from the engage mutual CTF thing) to spend! Will have to find a bigger Boots with a better selection..

  I cba cooking lately, today the kids have just had sausage, super noodles and beans, followed by kitkats for pudding
• Afternoon all.
  I had things multi-quoted on the old thread, and I've lost them now. Never mind, I'm sure they will come back if they were important.
  We failed at seeing any of the acts at the hat fair today, as it was too busy to get close enough to see anything. I had a mooch around the stalls though while Izzy was sleeping (DH was working, but it was quite quiet in the shop - off-licence) so I just left her in the corner with him. Luxury. I went and bought myself a few patterns too. I'm failing completely at finding any clothes I like that fit me and don't make me look like an elephant, so now I've got bedtimes sorted I'm going to have some evening sewing time. Didn't actually buy any fabric to sew with, that will be the next step. Need to clear the table enough to fit the sewing machine on first anyhow. I won't get to buy any fabric till at least Thursday, so that should be pleanty of time to tidy up!
  Actually I think I need to invest in a Gok book or something. I used to know what shapes/styles of clothes to wear, but now I'm a bit bigger and FAR more curvy (read, I still look 3 months pregnant) I'm at a loss - everything just makes me look massive. And seeing as for the moment loosing weight doesn't seem to be happening I'm determined to find some clothes that fit and look good. I'm sick of just pulling on whatever is clean. I want to wear something that is flattering too!

• ladybird, i know exactly how you feel! I did find a nifty tool online on one of the old Gok show websites that's really useful in telling you your shape.
  Cool that you sew! Do you make clothes or is it more crafty stuff? My mum was an excellent sewer, a skill i sadly did not inherit.

  i would have met you on tues but its DH pool night and unfortunately our babysitters are on holiday. there is no way he will miss his stupid pool for me to meet you.
