Motor Insurance Renewal

A question about : Motor Insurance Renewal

Received my renewal quote from existing insurer = Ј401.50

EXACTLY the same policy (with same Excess, everything) through a Comparision website = Ј282.73

That's a difference of almost Ј120.

There's nothing to stop me cancelling my renewal and taking out a new policy through the comparison site online, is there?

I could just call them, but in the mood I'm in, I might get a tad lairy.....

• happens to me every year with the big red telephone. Yes you can just take it out again.
• You're not a new customer any more so dont get all the discounts that new customers do.
  Most insurers are fine with you cancelling and rebuying or will pricematch themselves
