A question about : MoneySaving Poll: Choose our new logo...

Poll started 19 September 2014

Choose our new logo...

It's time to update the MSE logo (actually in truth we don't have a logo - it's more just the site name written out) and so we've worked on two designs. Please pick the logo you prefer and let us know your thoughts below.

Best answers:

  • option 1, because option 2 looks too much like a school blazer badge!
  • option 2 reminds me of Salvation Army logo
  • Neither.
    We don't need one.
  • shields are too boringly 'safe'
In fact, both are fairly boring. Run a competition to design a new logo. There are some really creative people on here who would have some excellent ideas.
  • Neither.
I prefer this (existing) one ...
  • Neither, prefer Mandelbrot's suggestion, if necessary.
  • both are boring and a bit naff. look like they were done in 5 min using paint.
  • As said, both are boring as hell - that said, simple can work. Hate shields though. Make me think of a school.
I think you need something more eye-catching, but still easy to read, though.
  • Wish there was a neither button as both are boring and uninspiring
  • Neither!
They look like they were designed by school children.
If you asked outside consultants to design these 'badges',
    GET YOUR MONEY BACK!!!
  • I don't think one is needed, the name just spelt out works fine I think!
  • the one on the left reminds me of something moneysupermarket or confused.com would have!
Don't wanna get mixed up with them!
  • I think this one would fit the job perfectly
Does exactly what it says on the tin logo!
  • Neither, prefer existing design.
