A question about : Moneysaving at Center Parcs

Does anyone have any tips? Do any of the restaurants take tesco vouchers or 2 for 1 vouchers for example? We will take our own wood for the fire and some groceries for the fridge, just hoping there is a way we could save a bit on a meal or two out, I doubt there is any way to save on the activities other than booking few and mostly cycling and swimming (we will take our own bikes). Thanks for reading

  • Hi,
I've been centreparcs quite a few times and it sounds like you've already got most money saving ideas covered. My best tips are:
Don't buy anything in their supermarket, they only sell the most expensive brands and even they're inflated. Bring all groceries with you.
I don't think any of the restaurants take tesco vouchers or any other offers. They will however take centreparcs vouchers - you can sometimes get these if you book your next break within a certain period etc.
Regarding firewood, they state that you can only use their artificial logs from their supermarket and not real wood.
I find that their take away service is one of the better value for money food services. The pizzas are large so your party should be able to share one.
I've also found that taking supermarket finest range of food with you and cooking it there can be just as good as eating at their restaurants (and I do like to eat out, but I think their restaurants have small portions and high prices).
You can take small cooler boxes into the pool complex, so packed lunches could save you in the day.
Activities such as pool, table tennis and badminton are the best value for money. Especially if you can take your own equipment and fit your whole party on one court/ table. Mini golf is also reasonable.
    I hope this helps?
  • You can buy the same brand of fire logs that they sell in b and q and the like for about half the price!
  • I am going in May and wanted to ask the same questions. We are going for a long weekend - 2 adults and a child. I'm not sure how much spending money to take. Might in 1 night and out the others.
I have heard its expensive so want to start putting something aside.
Are snacks expensive? Will probably have a snack lunch and coffee etc.
