Hi there

I wonder if anyone can help me. I'm leaving for Jamaica on Monday 29 April 2013, so I don't have enough time to get a new credit card.

I was thinking of getting a Travelex prepay card from Sainsburys, but I just want to know if when I get to Jamaica I can draw out US dollars. If not, what is the safest way (with good rates) to take my money to Jamaica.

• I know this thread is old, and you've now been and come back but for future reference to those travelling to Jamaica, I would suggest not taking a card and taking larger denom Jamaican dollars, plus $5s and $1s of USD.
