A question about : megane 2004 convertible

Hi

Can anyone advise me on my window workings, does my drivers door suppose to go down an inch when opened and then when closed it goes back up? What it is my drivers window when I close the drivers door it seams to catch on the roof and then I have to wind down the window and then wind it up for it to fit into the seal of the roof?

• If I remember correctly you have to close the window but keep pulling the switch for another 10 seconds. That should reset it
• when I had my megane it would always inch down after taking the battery off and plugging it back in or if the battery was low (was a 2004 model hatch) to reset it you simply had to hold both passenger and driver window switch UP for 10 seconds then press the windows to go down. if it didn't work I just kept lifting the switch with the windows up about 20 times and that would work.
