Official MoneySavingExpert insert: The Works has confirmed Mary Berry's Fast Cakes book is Ј1.99 and available in most stores and online (delivery's Ј2.99), while stocks last. Apparently stock's healthy, though call ahead before making a special trip to a store.

The Works has confirmed the code AUTUMN15, posted by mwjmum gets you 15% off and is valid until Mon 30 Sep. The code PAYDAY20, posted by the OP doesn't seem to be working.

This is the cheapest we've seen this book (next cheapest is Ј6.20 on Amazon), though it's always worth doing a price comparison before buying. Thanks to scrooze247 for sharing this offer.

• I ordered yesterday,but went into town today and they had these in the shop. Looks well worth Ј1.99
• Just want to say that I have had this book years. I have lots of baking books but it is always this one that is used. Highly recommend, hope you are all lucky in getting hold of a copy. Happy baking

• If you look for the book in amazon other sellers have it chaper.
  The Works is selling it for Ј2.99 and (according to the first post) delivery is Ј2.99. In amazon one seller is offering it at Ј2.40 and another at Ј2.49 both with Ј2.8 delivery, another seller offers free delivery but book costs Ј5.20. All of these options work out cheaper than the works offer even including the 15% off as it works out at Ј2.54 for the book plus 2.99 delivery.
  So, unless you are buying it instore it is better to buy it from Amazon!
