A question about : Lloyds Tsb Customer online 9mths Fee Free Card !!

Sorry if this has already been mentioned, but i have just applied for the LloydsTsb 9months 0% fee's free card online, vie my current account.

Dont know if it is available to non Tsb customers.

Nice little earner if you can get it.

It comes up as a special promotion on your'e online account list, along with all the other stuff like car insurance etc.

Good luck ........ there are still some out there !

  • Thanks for this. My account will only allow £1k credit limit, perhaps for having binned MoreThan and Accucard after the swapover but my wife's account is showing no limit at the moment. I live in hope for a good stooze.
  • I think perhaps you are wrong. My accounts have £3.5k iin credit including savings, held for only 6 months. Wife has £750 held for only 1 week in a current account.
  • Thanks a lot for this! I have just been browsing the 0% free article as my long 0% with halifax has just ended!!
I hope I get this card, I cancelled my Lloyds card about 6 weeks ago, eek!
  • The internet shows and showed all my accounts, including current, savings and credit cards, the latter for 3 months until they were recently automatically removed on closure. I am suggesting that the lady, whom I recently read took over this aspect of the company, has targetted what she perceives to be unprofitable customers and this is reflected in their proferred credit limits. My wife, who has no such record in their eyes, has had no automatic limit imposed. I await with interest to see if they will fully transfer her about-to-expire stooze with the A&L card.
  • The offer I saw, there was no balance transfer fee if you transferred a balance in the first 6 weeks. It was 2.5% thereafter.
  • Good to hear I have helped a few people on the board with this one.
Just to update everyone, I have recieved my Form, with the Terms And Conditions this morning ( Sat 7/10) .
It is definately 0% 9 months and FEE FREE, before the first six weeks of the transfer. For internet banking customers only though. Have signed and sent mine off forthwith!
  • I've banked with Lloyds for over 30yrs. I got the platinum card last week after being offered it on my banking page. The application went through very quickly, replied in 4 days, account opened 6 days later. They gave me Ј4000.
Take care with the balance transfers though, see my other post on the credit card board. Stick to your guns. They dont appear to know anything about the offer they are making on special promotion of Fee Free for first 6 weeks, and even after I said I'd got it in black and white, and they agreed to do it with no fee, they still charged 2.5%.
When I phoned and complained they said they would refund the fee.
  • Thanks for that info gem4.
I applied on the 4th, in the evening, so hopefully I'll hear back on Monday, fingers crossed! Will definitely watch out for that.
  • V interesting.
I've just logged on to LTSB website. Clicked on the 'Apply Online' for credit cards. At the top of the web page it tells you what credit limit they will give you - subject to credit checks
Does anyone know how long the fee free BT offer will last? I have a 12 month 0% Halifax deal that runs out mid Jan. I'd luv to sweet the banks assets and apply in December.
