Can't see this elsewhere in the forum, so apologies if this is a double post.

Tesco price checker doesn't take into consideration meal deals when comparing prices to ASDA.

The meal deal currently has Turner's Road Chardonnay and Merlot in the offer (Tesco price Ј9.99, Asda Ј4.06)

So after you put you're receipt in to the price checker you get you're Main + Side + Desert + Wine for Ј4.07 (Ј10 - Ј5.93 voucher)

Here's a step by step guide for any newbies (Thank you to a1cat for this) and thank you to legendmum who has posted this on another post before I posted this (I didn't see it honest)

1. Buy the Ј10 Finest meal deal https://www.tesco.com/groceries/Produ...x?id=L00000444

2. Make sure the wine you choose is either Turner Rd merlot or chardonnay

3. Check your receipt in store to make sure the meal deal has gone through as Ј10 - if not, go to Customer Services and claim back double the difference there and then (as you've been charged higher than the shelf price).

4. Submit receipt to Price Check https://www.tescopricecheck.com/Pric...s/Default.aspx

5. Next day (usually by noon) either get an email with your voucher for Ј5.93 or resubmit to Price Check which will also trigger the same voucher.

• ok.. so I gather your saying that so long as buy either of the turners chardonnay or merlot with my meal deal, the tesco price checker will compare all the food as n/a but then compare the wine as a Ј5.93 voucher?? it's like half price on the meal deals....

• I posted this in the DTD thread as saw it online on Tuesday and I STILL keep forgetting to go buy it! A defo mission for tonight!
• I'm having trouble finding the merlot on the asda website...
  both red and white versions of the turners road chardonnay are Ј4.06 on asda's website, but only the white is on the tesco.. so i assume only the white is part of the meal deal, although wont know for sure until i get to tesco.
• Lol sounds MEGA i will give it a go -is there any time restriction on it eg if i buy the goods tomoz morn can i take the receipt on sat or mon or ?
• Has anyone actually tried this? Only ask because I remember something about meal deals being excluded, hope I am wrong, will fill up the freezer. I got the Ј10 finest meals with the 25% off wine and that worked.
