Instagram. Eh?

A question about : Instagram. Eh?

I branching out into Instagram. I've done a grand total of 2 comps this morning and I'm not convinced I've done either one correctly. Can anyone point me in the direction of some Instagram comping help? How to do 'tag', 'hashtag' 'regram using a hashtag'etc.? I'm okay on FB and the Twitter but I can't make head nor tail of this Instagram business.....

  If you are asked to 'regram' a photo for a competition, if you have an iphone you can screenshot the entire screen, then upload the photo on to your profile, whilst including the companies @ instagram account and any hashtags they want you to use.
  If you don't have an iphone (I have no idea if you can screenshot your screen on other phones) you can download an app called 'Repost' which syncs up with your instagram account and allows you to 'repost' the competition photo onto your profile, again, you need to include all the required hashtags.
  To tag the company you need to follow the company first, then regram the competition photo. To tag them, upload the photo and then in the photo description use the '@' symbol followed with their instagram name to tag them in it. In this section you include any hashtags they've used as well...
  This is an example of what you'd put in the photo description: @benefitcosmeticsuk #makeup #competition #rollerlash
  I really hope that makes sense, but if not, feel free to ask anything I haven't highlighted.

• I've noticed most Instagram winners are selected when they've actually regrammed the picture properly (rather than screen shot the picture and uploaded) it might be worth also downloading "Regram 7" or "Repost for Instagram" which is kind of like retweeting.

• Thanks to everyone, good to hear that I'm not the only one struggling. I have a Motorola phone but have downloaded 'Repost'. Blessed.by and IOweYou-very helpful posts 'thank you'. Off to work now but will investigate further tomorrow.
