A question about : If Grimsvotn erupted again soon
If Grimsvotn started producing significant ash again now or within the next few weeks, would insurers count this as part of an existing event (and insurance bought in the interim would not cover it) or would it be a new event?
Any ideas/thoughts?
I'm looking to buy insurance for travel in July and I'm trying to figure out who to buy it from and when to buy it. People shouldn't be needing to gamble and play the system like this!

- I spoke to Virgin Money about this and was advised that anything 'over the summer' would be classed as an existing event. I did ask her to elaborate on what 'the summer' covered but she got very stroppy and just kept repeating herself!
