Iberia flight pricing error

A question about : Iberia flight pricing error

I'm currently trying to book a couple of flights on the Iberia website, and upon getting to the payment screen, there's an obvious pricing error.

On previous pages the total fare was around the Ђ650 mark (which is what I expected to pay as this adds up), but the final screen states the total at Ђ297, which is completely wrong (and doesn't even cover taxes/charges).

Is it any point booking this, or is it best to wait until the glitch is fixed? I'd imagine it's highly unlikely that they'd honour this fare for a flight in August, and if they did this several months down the line making it necessary to rebook, it'd likely be for a higher price at the time.

• Is there any harm in booking it and awaiting for the confirmation come through?
  If it comes through as confirmed, surely then the contract is set.

  On googling it, it seems someone had their Iberia ticket cancelled just a couple of weeks before departure because of a pricing error - that's the thing that concerns me. Might be an isolated case though.
• Which flights and dates are you looking at, the pricing seems ok on most of the flights I've checked

  The prices on the fare selection screen are normal, but when it gets to the payment page it changes.
• That's the price I'm getting (the € equivalent).
  The price breakdown on the right adds up to far more than this, which I'd imagine is the proper price. Approx €111 + 63 + 152 = €149 apparently!
• If you want to book the direct flights to Tenerife Norte TFN, these are operated by Iberia Express, try booking at https://www.iberiaexpress.com/en/home
• Yeah alright, may as well - guess the worst that could happen is getting a refund! Better not book accommodation just yet though
• Btw the flights leave the Norte airport at 11.20am which could mean an early start if you are staying at a resort in the South of the Island.

• Just tried booking, seems to have gone through. No confirmation email so far though, will have to wait and see.
