A question about : I am leaving now ..... !I may be some time
Mr Judi has bought new bits for our ailing PC. He found what the problem was. It was a couple of bulging capacitors on the board - a common fault with our board i am afraid.
Anyway, hes had to buy the lot (not the monitor and tower), i guess he will be on it some time.
I am looking forward to MSE'ing in super quick time though and obviously without the blue screen and 'STOP EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED' writing that i keep getting.
Best answers:
- Good luck, hope you're soon back online
- Good luck with your new PC, Judi.
Come back soon. - Am back, its lovely to have been missed!!!
Mr Judi did really well, hes rebuilt it in super quick time and i only heard him swear 4 times. ;D
Has anyone seen where hes put msn messenger? > - Judi,
If you've lost MSN Messenger you may have to download the programme again. If you are using XP as your operating system you could use Windows Messenger instead.
To activate it, go to your start menu and click:
'Set Program Access and Defaults' then
click the drop down arrow on 'Custom' and you can then set all the defaults for Windows programmes including Messenger.
cheers
simsun - Cheers simsum, he had loaded it, it just wasnt on my browser thats all.
