A question about : How many posts?

Fence posts failed that is.
More important though, any advice on how to prevent fence posts rotting at ground level? I have 3 posts to replace next week assuming no more fail in the storms.

Best answers:

  • I have no idea, but our fence posts rotted through normal usage, and we have just replaced 4 posts with the grooved concrete ones - so future damage to the panels and we can just slot a new one in, much easier
  • Those metal fence post bracket things. Get one of them in the ground, then slot in the post. Might last a bit longer.
    Wood will rot eventually though, its wood.
