A question about : Hello some help please

Recently changed banks accounts from natwest to tsb, now my money that was usually due on the Monday was always available on the Saturday, when I was with lloyds tsb years ago money became avalible on the Sunday is this the case with tsb or will my money now just be ready for me to draw out tomorrow title=Thanks,

  • What money do you mean - are you talking about paying in a cheque? Weekends don't generally count for clearance - only weekdays.
    If its a BACS transfer or cash paid in - its available immediately.

    "So, for example, if you pay in a non-TSB Cheque on a Monday, you will see it on your statement the same day, it counts towards interest on Wednesday, you can use the money on Friday and we cannot take the payment out of your account after the following Tuesday."
    The clearance for Natwest is the same.

    Depends on TSB, I've no idea as I don't bank with them sorry.
    With Nat West any transactions due on a Monday always show on the Saturday before - either debits or credits which affects the balance, therefore money due in can be used earlier.
  • It will just be available on the Monday.
    On a brighter side though, it should last a day longer if it's available a day later
