A question about : Good quality shed + hexagon 'mesh' base?
I'm looking for a good quality (but obviously as cheap as possible) shed. I'm torn between metal and plastic, on the basis you need to regularly treat wood.
I need a decent size, I want to store personal belongings in there as well as tools etc - so sturdiness, dryness etc is a must. If I could find a nice tight draught proof fit, which would reduce the damp and spiders/bugs that would be great.
Regarding a base, I've seen these mesh hexagons you pin to the ground then fill which looks quite handy. Can you fill them with concrete for a tough base?
Best answers:
- Metal = condensation.
- Metal also = a massive hassle to erect unless its a small one.
I haven't seen any large plastic sheds.
A good quality wooden one is the best option, or brick/concrete.
