A question about : Good fun restaurant in Newcastle

Hi all,

I am off to Newcastle for a Stag do this weekend. I am looking for a good restaurant where there is abit of something else going on, either music or comedy or even just a really good atmosphere.

Looking at maybe a steak house or italian or something a bit different. There is only 6 of us and they a re good bunch of lads (not rowdy or relnowned for bad behaviour)

Is there anyone that could recommend a restaurant to us for next Saturday??

I'm making a train journey up to the North East (Durham, specifically) on Monday, but as I am coming up from Southampton, I will be changing trains in London - which involves a journey, by the Tube for part or all of the interchange, between Waterloo and Kings Cross stations.
