A question about : frozen hot pipe I think
had a power cut last night for a few hours, temp was -16c, by 8.30pm power restored. left heating on all night, this morning woke up have a twin tap in kitchen cold water side working, hot water not. do you think it could be frozen if so what the heck do I do? I have opened the tap up fully and checked other hot water in house and its all working.
Best answers:
- mine used to do the same , the pipe for the hot routed next to an air brick under the sink , a gentle heat with a hairdryer in that area used to sort it
- thanks Im so annoyed its a 2 year old house, fascias fell off house at beginning of week due to snow coming off roof and now this.
