A question about : Free vouchers for a bit of time in central Cardiff

UPDATE: The snow in Cardiff is causing lots of problems, so they are now looking at doing the research remotely. If you have a computer and telephone, and would like to earn Amazon gift vouchers without leaving the comfort of your own home, get in there. It's Ј12 for home testing or Ј20 if you go into the office.

Email rose@confused.com to book a customer research interview.

___________

A company in central Cardiff regularly carries out customer research - a one-hour interview is a casual chat one-to-one with a company employee, who will show you their ideas for the business and ask for your feedback. And give you Ј20 in M&S vouchers.

Hia,

If anyone's going to be near Cardiff Queen Street next week, there are some free M&S vouchers going in return for a research interview... PM me for details.

Cheers,
Badger

  • This is happening again in a couple of weeks (above post updated):
This time you can get Ј20 vouchers in return for an hour's interview (still in Central Cardiff). They're running the sessions on 27th, 28th and 29th May (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday).

  • Bump! Book your appointments for next week, guys
  • Hello, what does this entail actually/what's it for etc?
  • Hia - it's for a website. Basically whenever they design a new bit of the website they try to get real customers to come in and play with it, so they can see what works and what doesn't. Then they use what the customers have said to make future improvements.
So, you come into the office, sit down in front of a computer and the interviewer asks you to do something, like "find the company address", and you play about whilst thinking out loud until you've completed the task.
They always make sure it takes exactly 1 hour (or less!) and give you an M&S voucher at the end, which you can take straight across the road and spend
  • How do I book Badger?
  • Just drop me a PM! Don't want to post real email addresses on here...
  • The study for next week is now full... however, if you are interested in future studies still drop me a line - they're likely to come up every few weeks
  • Hi, just wondering if there are any more coming up anytime soon?
    Thanks,
    salimali
  • Hia,
Yep - Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th and Thursday 9th July - same situation
  • Hey all - next session is on the week commencing 10th August. If you've already sent in your email address, check your inbox . Otherwise send it now to be included!
  • Oops! Found the original post
There's been a bit of a gap, but they're running sessions again on Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th and Friday 20th November
  • Just to update - Friday is now full. But they still have the following available:
    Wednesday
    12:45 - 13:45
    14:00 - 15:00
    16:30 - 17:30
    Thursday
Any time between 13:00 and 17:30
    Thanks,
    Badger
  • One more update - Wednesday is now fully booked, however the Thursday afternoon is still free.
  • ...And swiftly on to the next!
This one is specifically for van drivers - if you own or regularly use a van, you can do a set of interviews on the 7th and 8th December, once again for Ј20 M&S vouchers.
As usual, drop us a PM with your email address to take part
  • Hi Badger Lady, have pmed you... Ive lost the details you mailed me!! :-(
  • Still a couple of slots on Monday 7th December (for van drivers):
    12:45 - 13:45
    15:45 - 16:45
... and still some time on Tuesday 8th December too
  • This is confused.com.Are they asking for van drivers so they can bombard them with insurance quotes after the testing by any chance ?
  • Oo, sorry I only just saw the recent posts! This is absolutely not a sales pitch, as anyone who's been to the office will testify. The interviews are to find out what new ideas do and don't work on the website, what sort of things people would like to see happen... it's pure customer research and if you have issues with the way the business works it's your opportunity to have those issues heard. One-on-one hour-long interviews would be an extremely expensive way to sell insurance, especially if your renewal isn't due / you don't drive a car!
Anyway, back to the original point - there's another research session on Wednesday 13th January, again in central Cardiff. All I know about this session is that they're keen to look at homepage designs. Email rose@confused.com for details.
