• I tried ordering this but it's adding on Ј3.95 for the postage, a total of Ј7.94? Any ideas?

• Could it be that they are so heavy that postage would be that much higher? i.e total postage is nearly Ј8 and the Ј3.99 is a p&p surcharge

• hi do not think they are heavy as i think you do not get the compost to grow them in just 3 bags and a couple of spuds and some seeds unless you want the bags not that good an offer as you can get small lots of potatoes in the Ј1 shop have noticed same with several of these offers i got 180 bulbs in my Ј1 shop for Ј4.00 better than the free offer once you have paid postage

  As an aside: what a great website Thompson & Morgan's is.
  It doesn't demand that you set up a username / password account before you can even buy anything.
  It doesn't ask for your card security code.
  It doesn't put you through further hoops by shoving you into online Visa or MasterCard verification.
  And its box ticking section -- for whether or not you want to receive future offers, or stuff from 'approved' third parties -- is a model of absolute clarity (it's the first time I've ever seen a tick box clearly labelled 'opt out'.)
  I've never dealt with this firm before but on the basis of today's purchasing experience will certainly re-visit them.
