A question about : Floating frame recommendations please
Helloooo
I really need some recommendations for floating frames for my papercuts (pics in the usual place ). I'm really limited shop wise in this area and really need some help on where to find something decent online. Has anyone found any that are reasonably priced/come in a decent range of sizes?
I've been using normal frames for most of my work but I recently finished a piece that needed to be in a floating frame - I ended up buying 2 frames to use the glass from both in the one frame but this is going to end up getting pricey. It did look fab though (I'm biased )
Any thoughts? Thanks
Best answers:
- Is there no glazier close by? I used to go to my local glazier and get offcuts of glass and cut them myself....
- Wilkinsons do box frames. Use them and then buy some sheets of acetate. So glass, papercut then acetate. Should stick together with static hope this helps x
