A question about : First Great Western
Hi,
I've sent off to First Great Western for some tickets to be refunded that were booked online - one was an Advance ticket that I couldn't use as the train was cancelled and there was no suitable alternative.
The second one was just a straight refund for an unused ticket.
Any ideas how long I will have to wait before FGW process my refunds on the tickets? All I can find on their website is the length of time that I have to claim in - not when I'll actually hear back from them!
Thanks,
calydon
Best answers:
- It's a long time since I was delayed enough to claim but ISTR a couple of weeks. Depends on how busy they are - there have been a lot of problems recently
- Thanks - I'll wait a while before starting to stalk the postman for a letter then...
- I often send in delay repay claims and they usually take two to three weeks to come back (sometimes with vouchers, sometimes sadly not).
- Refunds received - both within a week of posting the request off :-)
