A question about : Felix As Good As It Looks and giant rawhide knotted bones

Just thought I'd share my find with you all;

In all the supermarket Doubly Delicious is Ј4.50 for a box of 12, I have found it in my local B&M store at just Ј2.99 per box!

The website is showing at Ј3.49 but it's still cheaper than the supermarkets

The large Rawhide Bones are Ј5.99 too, which are a great price.

Best answers:

  • Wouldn't touch rawhide with a barge pole. Can be harmful to dogs.
  • Never buy cat food from a supermarket unless it's on special offer. Discount stores are best. Poundstretcher, B & M, Home Bargains, market, cash and carry. Know your prices and shop around.

  • I don't let my dog have rawhide either after I had to rescue it from his throat when he was given it by The Dogs Trust when he was a foster dog.
    Thanks anyway x
  • I also would never touch rawhide with a bargepole. Whenever any of my dogs have been given it in Christmas presents etc, it goes straight in the bin, as does those brightly coloured chew things that look like woodchip, utter rubbish. Rawhide is so so dangerous. I hate waste and would normally put anything I didn't normally give him that I considered safe into a rescue bin but never ever put rawhide in there either as I would hate them to be given to a dog not being supervised and it choke on them. Same with pigs ears and the like - bin them!!
  • Too true! The only thing my dogs ever get to chew on are raw meaty bones, pigs trotters and duck/chicken/turkey feet
