Hi everybody,

I've had a couple of quotes regarding a rather large job including:

Complete removal and replacement of fascias, soffits and fascias on a three bedroom end of terrace (more or less semi-detached)
Repointing of the chimney, including a new cowl
Complete replacement of bay window roof with insulation, new wood beams and fibre glass, including new guttering

Total: Ј2550

Guaranteed price regardless of the amount of work which needs doing, very reputable firm, great reviews, very knowledgable tradesman who spent about an hour with us going through what he was doing, what materials he would use, etc. Even gave us advice on other things which weren't to do with the quote! South Yorkshire area.

Had a couple of quotes including a very low one of Ј1600 (this company did a drive by assessment, so I doubt the validity of this quote) and another one for Ј2300 without the repointing.
