Facebook Notifications

A question about : Facebook Notifications

Hi,
I just wondered how people are normally notified of Facebook wins, particularly the like, share, comment ones. Do you have to go back and check every comp after the closing date or do you normally get an inbox message?

• most of the time you are tagged so youll get a notification or a promotoer might friend you to message or appears in the 'other' messages
• Had a win today - AA winter driving kit. AA merely replied to the thread of comments (not my actual post) stating that I was the winner. They tagged me twice in that post - no notification from Facebook. Makes me worry other wins may have gone astray. Hasn't come up when using social searcher either.
  Anything i'm doing wrong - is there a setting or something that I am missing?
• I'm glad you asked this as I was wondering this too. I've won on Twitter twice and got notifications about that, but have never won on FB and I wondered too if I had missed a win! ( maybe wishful thinking!)
