A question about : Extended Warranties with Cashback

Have you ever been tempted to take out an extended warranty on an electronic product and were you offered the inducement of a full premium cashback if you did not require to call upon the warmth of the insurance that surrounded you.

Did you have to return a cashback entitlement certificate to register for that cashback, then beware, are you sure it has been registered with the insurance company?

We only found out the registratioin certificate we returned had not been received and recorded when it came to claim our cashback. We were turned down.

The moral is (a) don`t take it out at all or (b) return it recorded delivery and track it,phone to make sure it has been registered and (c) keep your certificate and original invoice safe.

    Good advice ;D
I have used insurance with cashback, but I only use it on large items, the last one was a 5yr cover for a suite
Worked well for me, I didn't need to worry and because I didn't claim ...got a nice sum back as well
