A question about : Ex missus wants to claim CSA off me

I'm really ticked off, had an answerphone message left on my phone last night from my ex girlfriends mother..

My ex girlfriend is 15 going on 16, and pregnant, and has slept with 9 guys since we split up..and shes pregnant, and trying to claim CSA off me.

I've looked at my earning and its Ј1.600 a year on my income.. i cant afford to live off that.

But the thing which really annoys me IS, they own 2 6 bedroom homes, her step father is a millionnaire, and they want to claim off me, who cant even afford to rent a house, get a car or anything.. i'm living with my mother.

And i've been told the CSA would expect me to pay for a blood test if i want to prove its not mine, WTF..it costs 120 quid.

This is wrong, its !!!!!!!!..and i dont even understand why they're being allowed to keep that child when Social Services were, at the same time as the enquiry, looking at her mother under scrupilation for mental health problems.. the brother is a known drug user and recently broke the pregnant girls wrist, and the step father drinks and drives..

Surely there must be some sort of legal loophole here

I need help here seriously

Best answers:

  • best out of it I say.
Slept with 9 people at the age of 15.....What is the world coming too. Am 39 and have only been with 3.
Someone with a little bit more expertise will be along shortly.
  • If the child is yours, then you should help to support it, no matter how much money her family have - you are its father and you have been partly responsible for bringing it into the world.
However, if she is promiscuous it may not be yours. You will need to take the blood test to find out, maybe borrow the money off a family member?
Then you will know for sure whether it is yours or not.
  • A couple of easy questions...did you sleep with an underage girl? If so, did you use precautions? If you did and no precautions were taken, how do you know the baby isn't yours????
  • You do indeed need help. Sex with underage girls is illegal. Plus not taking sensible precautions to ensure she does not get pregnant, or that neither of you risk contracting disease is foolhardy to say the least.
If you are sure you are not the putative father then it will be money well spent for the paternity test. If you are the father then you need to take responsibility and provide financially. Doesn't matter how much money and possessions her family have, if you have fathered a child then you should accept responsibility.
  • Demand a DNA test to prove you are the father, if you are pay up if not thank god and learn the lesson.
  • This has to be a wind up?!!
  • May I ask why she got you imprisoned?
  • How old are you? This sounds like a total wind up to me.
    PP
    xx
  • She is under sixteen. Technically, you did rape her. You are very lucky that you were not locked up for a great deal longer.
The advice from the others is correct. Get a DNA test, and if it is yours, then you will not to pay child support. The income of the mother's family is irrelevant.
  • You've got the cheek to say she slept around but it didn't stop you sleeping with her unprotected?????
    and underage!!!
  • If you put it about without taking the necessary precautions, then it's your own fault.
So get ready for a dna test to see if you are the "lucky" one from the 9 to have knocked up that catch of a century.
If you are an older guy, can you get done for s*x with a minor since it's obvious (after a dna test if it's positive) that you did?
  • Since when have contraceptive pills looked anything like paracetamol?! This has GOt to be a wind up?!
