Best answers:

  • 12 months after date-of-petition, one achieves Automatic Discharge [ providing no issues have arisen].
Since this is automatic, no formal notice of discharge is given.
Go onto the Insolvency Service website, look for your details.
Once the 12 month date arrives, your details will change, noting the date of your AD.
Print off this page [several copies may be useful]....it may suffice as proof of your Discharge.
If more formal proof is required, contact your Official Receiver's office, and ask for written proof of Discharge.
If even more formal-than-usual proof of Discharge is required, then apply to the Court where your Petition was granted, and ask for an official letter of Discharge.
This one will cost you the price of an expensive night out.
  • many thanks , so a letter from the OR is free
i think that should cover everything
