A question about : Egypt-Sharm el Sheikh?

  • Returned a week ago - only slight problem was that on two days the banks were closed. No other problems whatsoever - just a lack of tourists! My friend arrived back yesterday and has told me exactly the same - no problems.
  • We are due to fly out on 24th March for a 7 night holiday, originally were booked to go to Luxor but our travel agent (TC) changed it for us. Have not heard any reports other than it being a bit quiet on the tourist front but then on the other hand I won't mind that as going for a relaxing break in the sun. Will post back again on here when we return.
  • Spent a week in Sharm el Sheikh, bliss! No problems at all, fewer people, but that suited us.
  • Just come back from Dahab, 100km up the coast - very quiet and no problems - GO- they need the business!
  • Trip Advisor is very useful and information. It helped me a lot.
