A question about : Earning extra money

Hi all,

Further to my suggestion in the Siteback Feedback forum, I am wanting to compile a list of companies that are good to work for, along with a little explanation what each one does and what the possible earnings are. This can be survey sites, mystery shopping, anything where you can earn money, working from home to maybe having to go out and earn a bit etc. (Please remember it is not acceptable for people to promote sites/opportunities in their own interest - including the network marketing schemes and requests to PM for further information).

A few people have mentioned they would like something like this, and what I'm really needing is for people to either reply to this thread and I will copy and paste to what will hopefully become a sticky, or simply PM me and I can add the information.

Your help would be most appreciated and I look forward to hearing from you.

PS - I will only be listing companies that are good to work for, but if you have had any problems with any company that could appear, please PM me and let me know, just in case someone else says they are ok.

Many thanks

https://uk.lightspeedpanel.com/ - Take surveys for lightspeed points then convert these into cash through paypal, amazon vouchers or gifts on site, you will need to find a sign up link somewhere on the net though.

Thanks for posting - are these in order of preference too?, i.e., the best one listed first?
  • www.pureprofile.com A survey site where you earn anything from 10p to Ј4.00 taking part in surveys. Once you reach Ј25.00 you can transfer it to your bank account
  • Well, I've got the following (in order):
  • Slice the Pie (STP)
  • Cashback sites (Quidco, CashbackKings, TopCashback, GetPoundsBack)
  • Writing reviews on dooyoo
  • Taking surveys with e-Rewards
  • The e-Rewards surveys don't pay money, but they give points, which I can then redeem into bmi Miles and use for getting flights.
There are some other cashback sites that I haven't joined yet, although some of them reward you with points that you can later convert into money.

  • As a slightly longer term option - I work for The Body Shop at Home (TBSAH). It's a direct sales company and earnings are what you make of them really. you earn 25% commission on what you sell and you earn a percentage on sales of those in your team (that you recruited).
There are plenty of direct sales companies out there. I love TBSAH but my advise would be to research the available companies, what they cost to start up and what the earnings are. Then choose something you can be passionate about, there is no point in trying to sell a product that you don't like because you won't do well at it.
  • FM Cosmetics
low cost high quality fragrances. Same fragrance families as the higher cost designer labels. Dont work for FM but am self employed working with them.

  • Valued opinions survey site, lots of surveys and have always paid quickly in vouchers.
  • Hi folks
It would be helpful if you could limit discussion on the thread - then people can easily read through to find the reviews/lists of companies.
Also can the OP add to the first post that it is not acceptable for people to promote sites/opportunities in their own interest - including the network marketing schemes and requests to "PM for further information".
  • I also do party plan and work for a fab company called PartyLite - there are lots of reasons why I love working for this company -I personally used to buy the products so love them, costs nothing to join - get paid weekly with no problems, lots of incentives including 5* holidays, and everyone helps each other real feel good company to work for, in this day and age where everyone is worrying about their jobs its ideal way of working for yourself. I also work f/t as an Accountant and never ever look forward to going to work and compnany I work for are very depressing at the moment so loving my other job.
  • I always cringe when I think of these on-line money making websites. The best way to earn money on the internet is to work hard and get your own business started selling other peoples products or your own. It's the only way to make real money, although I'd probably guess a lot harder too. I really couldn't be bothered sitting for 6 hours straight only to earn a few pound at the end of it.
