Microsoft Live Search presents Big Snap II Terms and Conditions
1. One unique user can only win one Prize per day (7:30pm to 7:30pm), throughout the Promotional Period. Entrants who win more than one Prize over the period of a day will receive only the first Prize they win. The rest will be reallocated randomly, in conjunction with 'Term 12'.
How to enter
2. This Promotion (''Promotion'') is open to UK, CI and IoM residents only excluding employees and their immediate families of Microsoft Limited (''Microsoft''), the promoter (the ''Promoter''), The John Lewis Partnership (''JLP'') their agents and anyone else professionally connected with the Promotion. Entrants who are under eighteen must seek their parent or guardian's permission before entering this Promotion. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and check their identity.
3. The Promotional Period (''Promotional Period'') starts at 7:30pm on 20.10.2008 and ends at 7:29pm on 05.01.2009.
4. No purchase is necessary to enter the Promotion, but internet access is required in order to participate.
5. To be eligible to win one of the Prizes, Entrants must visit: https://www.bigsnapsearch.co.uk (the ''Website'') and submit a search via the entry box on the Website (''Entry''). The entrant (''Entrant'') can make unlimited searches and thereby submit unlimited Entries each day during the Promotional Period. Prizes are randomly allocated throughout a 24 hour period, 7:30pm to 7:30pm (''day''). Entrants cannot win two Daily Prizes within one 24 hour period. Please see 'Term 1'.
6. Winners' validation information that is incomplete will be deemed invalid. No responsibility will be accepted for validations lost, delayed or damaged in transmission.
7. If any person is deemed to have breached any of these Terms and Conditions they will be disqualified. If any person goes against the 'spirit' of the Promotion the Entry will be invalid. In the event that a Winner is disqualified the Promoter will reallocate the prize randomly. You are not eligible to win if you refresh the page using the F5 key (or similar refresh option on your keyboard), this does not constitute further entry entitlement. You will not be eligible to win if you duplicate the last search made. Any use of computer programmes, or other non-human use of Big Snap 2, to generate searches will invalidate Entry.
8. After an Entrant submits an Entry, when the search is returned, a pair of playing card images, selected by a random mechanic, will also appear (''Big Snap Images''). If both Big Snap Images on the pair of cards match, the entrant will be a Winner (''Winner'') and will be eligible to claim one of the Prizes set out below.
9. The Prizes: Each day throughout the Promotional Period there shall be available twenty-four (24) Daily Prizes (''Daily Prize''). These Daily Prizes will entitle the Winner to a John Lewis voucher (''Voucher'') to the value of the number displayed on the matching Big Snap Image. For sixty-six (66) days of the promotion the John Lewis vouchers range in value from Ј25.00 to Ј250.00. For eleven (11) days of the promotion, determined at its own discretion by the promoter, the John Lewis vouchers issued to winners will range in value from Ј25.00 to Ј1,000.00.
10. No cash or other alternative Prizes are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to award similar Prizes of equal or greater value. All Prize values are in GBP.
11. The Winners of all Prizes agree that Microsoft and JLP shall have the right to use their name, county of residence and statements relating to the Prize for advertising, publicity and marketing purposes.
Other ways to Enter
12. Each time an Entrant performs either a, b and/or c as defined below their name will be entered into a twice daily prize draw (''Twice Daily Prize Draw'') for the chance to win one (1) of two (2) Ј500.00 John Lewis voucher (''Daily Prize Draw Prize''). There is no limit to the amount of Daily Prize Draw Entries an Entrant may make, however each Entrant is limited to winning only one (1) Daily Prize Draw Prize throughout the duration of the Promotion.

b. Add Live Search – by changing search defaults to Big Snap II from Live Search through the use of the EXE file
c. Big Snap II on your mobile – by visiting the Promotion at the mobile website at mobile.msn.co.uk
All entries under 'Other Ways to Enter' are subject to the same Terms and Conditions as the main part of the Promotion. During the course of the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to introduce additional ways to Enter. Should this occur, revised Terms and Conditions will be integrated into the current Terms and Conditions and posted here.
How to Claim
13. In order to claim a Prize, the Winner must click on the link displayed on the card matching winning header which will link to the Winners page where a unique code number will be allocated. The Winner must make a note of this code number and provide a contact email address or telephone number, quote the code number displayed and provide details of name, telephone number, email address, and postal address and, if under the age of eighteen, confirm parental or guardian consent. Vouchers will then be posted and delivered by Royal Mail to the Winner within 4 weeks (28 days) of their validated winning Entry.
14. All Winners need to keep a record of their unique code numbers as if lost the number cannot be reissued. If a code number is lost the Prize cannot be claimed and will be forfeited. Users must not pass their code number to another person, as to do so shall constitute forfeiting the Prize.

16. Unless agreed otherwise by the Promoter, in writing, the Prizes are only available to the Winners named in the email addresses supplied.
Privacy
17. The collection of personally identifiable information for the purposes of this Promotion will be subject to the Privacy Statement at https://privacy.microsoft.com/en-gb/fullnotice.aspx. Specifically, the data collected throughout the Promotion will be used only in connection with administering the Promotion, unless you have given us permission otherwise. All personally identifiable information for non-winning Entrants will be deleted approximately six (6) weeks after the end of the Promotional Period. The ''Microsoft Live Search presents Big Snap II'' site is hosted by Thin Martian Limited on behalf of Microsoft Limited. By entering this Promotion, you expressly consent to the use of your personally identifiable information in accordance with the Privacy Statement.
General
18. If any provision or part of these Terms is deemed void or otherwise unenforceable in law then that provision or part shall be deemed excluded and the remainder of these terms and conditions shall remain in force.
19. A list of the winners' names and counties will be made available on request to those enclosing a stamped self-addressed envelope to 'Big Snap II', Castle House, 27 London Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, TN1 1DB after 31/01/2009.
20. The promoter is: Microsoft Limited, 5th Floor, Building 100, Cardinal Place, 100 Victoria Street, London SW1E 5JL. Please direct any queries or complaints regarding the Prize Promotion to either this address marked 'Big Snap II' or email info@msncompetitions.co.uk, please allow up to 14 days for response.
21. Entering details online is not proof of receipt of Entry. When entering online you will receive confirmation of Entry on screen. The promoter accepts no responsibility for any Entries that are lost or delayed, or which are unable to be sent due to technical errors, or for any other reason beyond its control.
22. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
23. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any technical issues, system or software failures encountered on www.bigsnapsearch.co.uk or during entry into the Promotion. We try to ensure the standard of the Website remains high but we cannot be held responsible for interruptions of service. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend temporarily the operation of the Website without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for any other reason beyond its control. We do not warrant that the Website and its contents are free from viruses or anything else that has contaminating or destructive properties. Internet software or transmission problems may produce inaccurate or incomplete copies of information and materials that may be downloaded and displayed onto your computer. 24. The Promoter reserves the right to randomly reallocate a Prize if any Winner fails to claim their prize within a period of 4 weeks after Entry.
25. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the failure to fulfil the obligations of any of the third parties involved in this Promotion, although the Promoter will always endeavour to minimise the effect to the participant of any such failure.
26. If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions, or breach of the spirit of the Promotion, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion refuse to process a claim. The Promoter will be the final arbiter in any decisions and these will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
27. The www.bigsnapsearch.co.uk Website may contain links to sites owned or operated by parties other than the Promoter. Such links are provided for your convenience only. The Promoter does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy policies or the security of such sites.
28. All mobile data will be charged at the standard network rate. Please get the bill payers permission before entering this promotion.
