Originally built in 1896 as a private house, Grasmere House offers superb views and is just the right size for offering a wealth of amenities without being impersonally big - a wonderful spot for family holidays, a weekend escape or a memorably romantic wedding. Grasmere House's lovely conservatory restaurant, the Bistro on the River has splendid views, which offer an excellent accompaniment to the dining experience. The menu is a tasty mix of classic English cuisine and a world of eclectic global influences.
The closing date for entries will be noon on 2nd March 2015. The prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other special breaks or promotions such as Christmas, Gourmet Weekends etc.
One prize winner will be selected and will receive a 2 Free Nights for 2 + Dinner on 1 Night for them and a guest.
The stay is open to a maximum of two adults sharing a double room.
The winner is responsible for their travelling costs to and from the hotel.
There is no purchase necessary to enter Best Loved Hotels contests.
