A question about : Dundee Uni Graduation!
My eldest son graduates this June in Dundee! He is the first ever in our family to gain a degree!!
We are booked to stay two nights in Dundee and our son has booked for us to eat
I am, excited, thrilled and want to make the most and see everything I can of the graduation.
Does anyone have any tips? How to get the best seats and view etc.? We have been advised to go upstairs to the gallery!
Best answers:
- Is it still in the Caird Hall?
If so, its a great long tunnel of a place with a fairly low stage and pretty awful views from either level unless you are close to the front. The gallery is a narrow strip up each side of the hall but most seats are away-back.
Your best bet if they don't reserve seats is to be there early or waiting as the previous graduation leaves so you get-in at the front of the queue and head as far forward as you can. - I agree, your best bet would be to arrive early, here's a couple of links one with an image of inside the caird hall and the other with a seating plan.
Congratulations to your son on his graduation https://3.bp.blogspot.com/-YEB15PVbf7...soundcheck.jpg
