A question about : Don't fall for iForce Maxx HCG free trial
My wife was browsing online a few days ago and came across this lot promoting a free trial of weight-loss pills; only p & p to pay (Ј4.99). After she'd looked round the internet all seemed above board, although no obvious terms and conditions on view. The company is based in the US, but also has a UK address. So she decided to sacrifice Ј4.99 to try out these pills.
After paying via credit card, she received an email, looked at the terms and conditions, and found in amoungst the tiny print that as a condition of the free trial, she'd been signed up for ongoing monthly deliveries of these pills for, wait for it, Ј89 per month. 
She rang up the following day to cancel the free trial, the first person she spoke to hung up on her! 
So she setup a recording for her second call. Terms of cancellation of the 'free trial' are: only possible within the first 14 days; pills must be returned at customer's cost; ring back when the pills are received to request cancellation.
Question: in what way is this not a scam?

Cancel your card before they get your Ј89.00.
Even the guy at the bank knew about the product.
He has had so many calls.
Although it says in the Terms and Conditions( if you take the time to read)
Ј89.00 after 14 days.
It should say it in bold print as soon as you open the home page. - I have had the same problem. I have cancelled any further transactions with my credit card company and raised a dispute. I tried contacting the "support team" but the number is permanently engaged (convenient). I emailed help@iforcemaxx to cancel my subscription that way and received an automated reply stating I can only cancel by calling the support team.
Any suggestions? - omg what is this????couldnt understand why Ј189 had gone from my account!!!have got their num from my statement....no answer...been on hold 15 mins so yet more money they have took!!!iv not bought anything to do wth these products,so how have they got my card details???can anyone help me???
- Finally got through to them and they appear to have cancelled without any query (why am I suspicious??) although when I asked for the name of the customer service advisor he said his name was Max!! Is this a joke?

What address did you return the product to? No one is answering the customer support number at all. Please help.
Thanx - Just managed to get through after being on hold for around 10 mins. Got a women who said I can't cancel until my free trial products have arrived but once they have I can then cancel hassle free. Hopefully this should all work out as. So now I just have to wait a couple of days to wait for the products to arrive.
- That's the number I rang, at first it was constantly engaged but you will just have to persevere I'm affraid. I eventually got through to the queue system and had to wait about 30 minutes.

Have to 'fess up to being caught with this one too. Normally review these products, but didn't this time until it was almost too late. Something dodgy happened on laptop as I was giving my order which made me suspicious. Googled the product(s), there were 2 of them, this one and Total Cleanse which is on the same website. Found this forum and reread the T&Cs which showed automatic deduction of Ј80+/month after the "trial" and Ј90+/month for Total Cleanse.
Having read the posts decided to just cancel the card and reported the scam to Fraud dept which sorts the problem.
Will be more careful in future!! - I got caught by this lot, so I cancelled cr card nunber, right away. Easy to do with your bank, over the phone. DO IT NOW

Didnt realise until yesterday a second lot of supplies turn up two weeks after the first and Ј89 and Ј99 lighter in my bank account any ideas how i can cancel and get a refund much help needed.
