A question about : dog insurance

I've just bought a pedigree labrador puppy and need to get some form of pet insurance, can anybody recomend a good one and give some pointers on what to look for to get the best cover.

• I use petplan and can't fault it. They cover pets for life if they get a ongoing illness and some don't do this.

• you could try www.pet-cover.com for some info around this and a few providers.
• Petplan are quite expensive but good cover.
  Worth having a look at Tesco and Direct Line which both offered good cover and were certainly more competitive for our cats.
