A question about : DMP Mutual Support Thread (Part 5)
Once again the old thread was getting a bit large, so here is a fresh thread.
The previous thread can be found here: Click ---> DMP Mutual Support Thread (Part 4)
This is the latest list I can find, unless anyone else can spot a more updated version?

- Thanks Fermi. I think we need an intro post for these threads, anyone want to help "build" one?
- Hi
Quick question, I have been on the CCCS/debt remedy and come up with a payment of around Ј220 a month for a Ј18000 debt but not done the registration form yet but am looking at starting a DMP in about 3 months time. Can anyone on a DMP let me know what the CCCS will need to see from me in terms of bank statements or anything like that please? Will they just accept what I tell them my outgoings are or will they need proof. If so, how many months statements etc do they normally ask for?
Thanks for your help and good luck to all of you on DMPs
Kevin - Also, I think the intro for this thread should refer people to CCCS/Payplan, NDL etc for advice and also comment on what a DMP is (I didn't have a clue what it meant when I came on here, had never even heard of a Debt Management Plan ).
I know the links are in fermi's signature but if there was a comment as to why they are the best source of advice (free) that might help. - Do I still count as being on a DMP when there is only one creditor left on a reduced payment?
- Thanks newlywed
That seems fair enough. Anything else that I need to bear in mind before I enter into one other than the obvious stuff like I can't get any more credit etc? For example, i'm thinking that if I spend anything on non-essentials the month before I go on it I should use cash and not use my bank card as they may look unfavourably on it if I have card payments in a pub or restaurant even if they are only very small.
Thanks again - And just to add....
I miss spending sprees on clothes and shoes (now shop in charity shops and ebay to get more clothes for my money
I miss holidays and when everyone asks where you're going this year... it stinks!
Just have to remember I never really had the money for those things and that's why I'm in this mess - Hi new thread!!
Newlywed - so know what you're describing... I miss mindless spending sprees - it's a deep longing that I don't think will ever go away completely. Madness!
My news... still waiting for CCCS to call back for a review to up my payments. Hmmnnn, maybe this is no bad thing, as I get to keep a bit more cash for a month or 2 over Christmas! - Yay! A shiny new thread to see us into a shiny happy 2009

Sunshine - Well despite me writing to my creditors with full budget breakdown as well as CCCS number I have received threatening letters and texts off Barclaycard and MBNA today.Oh well I must send them another Ј1 each this month, as that's all I can afford:rolleyes:
They're threatening me wth prosecution, bring it on they will be laughed out of county court - Hello all, I thought id pop in and say hello,
Hopefuly as of January next year, ill be on a DMP with CCCS, just waiting to hear back from them.
Ive got a diary in the DFW board if anyone wants to take a look...

I just hope all my creditors will agree... - P.S do i get a DMP Mutual Support Thread Member number!
- Hi mbs1 and welcome
Just been having a look at your other thread - very impressive, well done you! I'm impressed with your multi-tasking skills - I wish my OH was as talented
Any news on the little one's arrival?
Best of luck with everything. Dont forget to pop over onto this thread to say hi and let us know how you are getting on although I imagine things will get a bit hectic when the new little 'un arrives.
Rayday2 usually gives out the numbers but she's been a wee bit busy with other things at the moment. When a new thread starts (as this is part 5) the first post usually has all the members names and numbers on and I dont have a clue as to how we can "copy" it over to keep the numbers up to date. Maybe that's something the lovely Fermi can help with
Of course, you dont need a number ... but its just nice to have one and I'm sure someone will be along soon who can do that for you.
