A question about : Default notices
Hi
Could anyone answer the following questions for me please?
I am new to this, but just started a DMP and am now receiving default notices as I didn't make a payment last month.
If you receive a default notice because you have missed a payment, do you continue to get them every month you are in arrears, or if you make smaller payments to your creditors, do you just receive the one default notice?
Also, As a default stays on your credit record for 6 years, will my credit record become clean in 6 years, or, if it will take me 7 years to pay off my DMP will my credit record take 6 years from the date of my last DMP payment?
Thank you
