Debt relief order

A question about : Debt relief order

I have seen this mentioned in another post but was hoping someone could give me some more info and if you know when it comes into force

Not possible for OH as his debts are more that 15k, but might be a better option for mine

• Just found this on the Insolvency site here: https://www.insolvency.gov.uk/insolve...debtrelief.htm if that will help , not read it yet so I dont know what its about. Never heard of this before
• DROs are planned to come into force on 6 April 2009.
  The primary legislation is in place (came into force a month or so ago), however secondary legislation now needs to put in place to say how it actually works.
