A question about : David Morgans

Maybe someone could help, I bought two Olivia 2 Seater Sofas from David Morgans on 17th Jan 05, but instead of the Ј199 they were supposed to be they went on my Credit Card bill as Ј299 each. I know there were 2 others sold on that day or just before at the Ј199 price as they were on the tickes on the sofas.
DM say that their price is right, but I think I know different, but need to contact the other people.
Anyone out there, did you buy one of these at Ј199 each? Help :confused:

  or what was the amount on the credit card slip you signed?
• Do you mean the David Morgans in Cardiff? Hubby says they've been closed for about a month, dunno how you'd stand with a refund :confused:
• Sorry for the delay in responding. The slip that I signed was sent away in a Wedding Dress parcel, and they are looking for it. I know it sounds daft, but it's a long story.
  I have been in contact with the Accountant, and all mail is still being received at the shop, it's a separate office, not with the shop itself.
  My receipt number is 114141 dated 17th Jan 05, and I need to find the buyers with a receipt number a few in front of this, say from 114100. They say I need to find some proof of the price from the other people that bought the sofas, but don't know where to begin. I put a letter in the letters page of the Echo, but now replies yet.
  the Receipt was not given to me at the time, it was put with the sofas for when they were delivered. I don't know if any of you went to the store during the last week or so, but it was hectic to say the least. Guarentees and refunds are a statutory right, and they have said so in a letter to me, but I still need proof.
