CSA taking money

A question about : CSA taking money

can anyone help with or has anyone been through the complaints procedure with the CSA ... I have had a substantial sum taken out of my bank account with no warning and I need to get this sorted.

• Is it larger than your usual payment? Are your payments upto date or do you owe arrears?
• Do you owe arrears? Have you got a repayment agreement in place? Have you broken it?
  The CSA have many powers now to ensure CM is paid, you'll need to provide further information so we can advise accurately.
• took 7 thousand pounds out of my account on christmas eve with no notice or letter saying they were going to do it

• had a letter saying I needed to pay Ј69 per week then they would let me know when and how to pay it , then nothing, i wrote to them for more details they then sent a letter for a court hearing, next thing I know I get a liability order and they take a lump sum out of my account with no warning.
• Theres a massive difference between Ј69 per week and 7 grand. When should you have started paying the 69 pounds a week?
  You must be in massive arrears for them to take Ј7000.
• It sounds like you have 'head in sand' syndrome and have been ignoring letters regarding arrears built up, which I can only assume are quite hefty given how much they have taken from your bank.
• it sounds like a deduction order has been applied to your account. There is no problem with the agency doing this when a liability order has been granted - its a form of enforcement action. to discuss your case at this stage I imagine it will be the deduction order team you will need to speak to. they will be able to help you with your ongoing case.
