Credit Report with Partial Account Numbers

A question about : Credit Report with Partial Account Numbers

Hi

I have only just got round to looking at PPI (I assumed I'd not had any claim before but may be wrong). As I don't have all my paperwork now I ordered an Equifax credit report to get all the details and account numbers, but I have only got partial account numbers. Do I need the full account number to contact the lenders? If yes, will either Experian or Call Credit provide this? I don't want to throw good money away after bad. Many thanks for any advice.

• Noddle is free but it's unlikely they will provide this extra info you need - you can try the banks directly just by ringing to see what they have left - if you can provide name and address to help locate your account
