A question about : Cleaning and Selling Wedding Dress

Hi everyone,

I got married last month and am now wanting to sell my dress. The bottom layer and train got quite mucky but otherwise it is fine. Can anyone recommend the best place to get it cleaned? And could anyone recommend the best way to sell it to get the best price?

  • I got mine cleaned this year for Ј55 at a local, independent cleaners. It came out spot less.
  • i am seeking a wedding dress and sites i check several times a week are: Preloved, sellmyweddingdress and gumtree... And if i am in the mood ebay, but there is just such a ton of guff on ebay it puts me off.
  • I got my cleaned in Morrisons, it was a proper wedding dress and they cleaned it as an embellished evening dress for Ј20!! Came out perfect and soldwithon 4 weeks
